This from
yesterdays Tennessean could begin to shed some light on the thoughts of Metro School Board members not extending Supt. Pedro's contract. The State of Tennessee has opined that the school district is violating the law on informing parents of gifted students of their rights. It appears that Pedro (who landed in Nashville, by way of California) has reassigned personnel including the head of the talented and gifted program. Now parents have complained and now the state is intervening.
So now maybe we are beginning to have some light shed on what the board members were thinking. Very Interesting.
