So, in a move to try and quiet the Republican grassroots and to try and take pressure off of Lying Paul Crilley*. This morning Greg McKay announces that the second runner-up to his position, who happens to be another Realtor (like McKay) will be the Election Commisson's Deputy Director. Frith hasn't been active in the last 6-8 years in Republican politics. Since he last mounted a campaign for Republican Party Chairman and then he backed out when he would be challenged by then Chair Sue Methvin.
Just because Frith was named the Halls Man of the Year four years ago, to what significance does that have for the communities of Tuckahoe, Corryton, Powell, Heiskell, Farragut, Gap Creek, Ramsey and the other 88 precincts and communities? So, McKay came out of Fountain City and moved to Bearden. Frith is obviously from Halls. There is nothing like two North Knox guys sticking together to stick the rest of us.
Next question will be. How much is Frith's salary and how often will he be in the office? Will he still be selling real estate? Will he still be attending college?
Press Release: The Knox County Administrator of Elections, Greg Mackay, announced that he has named Scott Frith as Deputy Director. "The reappointment process resulted in a host of new ideas to improve our office," Mackay said, "We are honored to have someone of Scott's integrity and caliber to join our team."
Scott Frith, a Realtor with Realty Executives for the last ten years, has served as President of Keep Knoxville Beautiful, on the board of Legacy Parks Foundation, and was named Halls Man of the Year in 2005. Frith was the runner-up to Mackay in last month's vote for the Administrator of Elections position.
*Paul Crilley is now referred to as lying Paul Crilley because of this interview with Blogger Micheal Silence. You are known by the comments you make Crilly and now you are just like Commissioner R. Larry Smith. We know you are lying when you're lips are moving.

If Mackay was so great why should the taxpayers have to pay for an assistant?
ReplyDeleteThere has never been an assistant. The job Mackay has is not a full time job. Another ripoff.
You can thank Sandra Clark. This is her fair hair boy. Real estate isn't selling so Frith gets government welfare.
