Dr. Murphy along with Thomas Deakins make the motion. The board is asking for public forum before the amendment's and board discussion.

School Board Meeting - Notable Attendee's and 2007 Coupon Book Campaign

Pepsi replaces Coca- Cola, SunTrust replaces AmSouth also Walmart become the major sponsors for the 2007 School Coupon Book Sales.

In the audience tonight are 4th District County Commission candidate and former City Councilman Ed Shouse. City Councilman Bob Becker is in attendance as well.

I am live blogging tonight's School Board meeting. The meeting started at 5:04 p.m. A presentation to a couple of Karns High School students was made by Vice Chair Cindy Buttry. The students were participants in the TSBA Scope Conference this year.

Nearly 175 people are in attendance while the School Board hears a report on the upcoming School Coupon Book fundraiser that will begin in September 2007.
