The liberals and democrats like to stick out their chest and remind us Republicans when we have a bad apple. But what about them? The ones that go after corruption and then themselves are guilty as sin.
But look for R.Neal, Carole Borges and BBeanster to be very, very quiet on this. The local liberal blog will not talk about it.
But here is the story of DEMOCRAT Elliot Spitzer for you to view. View the New York version of the story.
The trend is in for a strong 2008, check it out here.

What goes around comes around. Hopefully his wife and daughters will leave his ass.
ReplyDeleteThe Democrats really value women. Now don't they?
ReplyDeleteBrian,
ReplyDeleteThe story is up on R. Neal's blog (you know the liberal one). The story has made a big splash, to say the least.
It reminds me of the guy that got involved with the DC madam and her outfit (can you say Sen Vitter, R-LA)? I know you can.

Actually, this is a prominent post on R. Neal's blog.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's being discussed by the liberals over there. Haven't heard anybody defend Spitzer yet.
It is always troublesome to me when I see people who are gleeful when other s fall. Whether they are democrats or republicans shouldn't matter...we should never say "oh, good its one of yours this time!". We've got some around Knox county that have fallen lately and only by the good graces of the media have they been spared the humiliation that this man and his family are feeling. Knoxville media, even the ones you call bullies have taken the high road.
ReplyDeleteYeah Steve it is there, however as of 5:00 p.m. R.Neal, Carole Borges and BBeanster were very very quiet. Hopefully my post sparked them to come out of their little dark closet.
ReplyDeleteIt hasn't been discussed by R.Neal, Carole Borges or bbeanster. I hope to draw them from their dark little liberal closet.
ReplyDeleteActually, the liberal spinners are saying it is because individuals are getting Spitzer back, it is payback. The Republicans according to the liberals forced him to pay for sexual tricks from a woman that wasn't his wife. The Republicans forced him to engage with a prostitute ring. Yeah right!

ReplyDeleteYeah right, in their dreams, only.
Brian you know to what I am referring to when I say they have taken the high road. There's a big elephant in the room in Knox county. Brian if you give criticism freely you need to give credit where it is due.
ReplyDeleteBrian,
ReplyDeleteIt's possible that part of the reason you haven't heard much is that this is an open and shut case of BUSTED!! There isn't a whole lot more to say. I hope he leaves gracefully and that it's easier on his family than it is for him.
The pertinent details of this might involve more money laundering than anything related to prostitution per se. Spitzer was hiding the source of the money and it's destination and as such might have crossed the line with regards to something called "structuring" which is a form of money laundering and as such a violation of federal law. He came to the attention of the feds, not because someone saw him with a hooker but because the banks noticed odd money transfers and reported them to IRS. As a guy that made his chops as the NY AG he is, in my book, completely without excuse.

The only hypocrites I see are the Republicans screaming for Spitzer's head while not calling for David Vitter to resign. Spitzer and Vitter both need to go.
