RIP President Gerald Ford

I am a day or two late on this. As I indicated in a previous post, I will be sporadic in posting as the next two weeks is Family time.

However, with the passing of President Ford it is neccesary to send condolences to the Ford family. President Ford was a man for such a time. He wasn't elected so that he would serve for such a time. He served honorably during a difficult time.

President Ford, You have earned your eternal rest. Go Rest High on that Mountain.

Amen, Brian. He restored trust to the Whitehouse and peace to the nation. He paved the way for Reagan's eventual presidency.

I wouldn't go so far as to say he paved the way for Reagan's eventual presidency.

As Jimmy Carter's failed energy and foreign policy decisions did that for any Republican running in 1979 & 80 for the election of November 1980. The long gas lines and the failed chopper attempt at rescuing the hostages doomed Jimmy Carter.
