This article in today's Knoxville News-Sentinel indicate that the Knox County School Board Chair Karen Carson and Interim Superintendent Roy Mullins have signed a letter joining the four other large school district's in the State in engaging the services of a lobbyist. The School district has not disclosed how much these services are costing the taxpayers.
Knox County's general government already have a lobbyist. Why couldn't the School district use the lobbyist already engaged?
