Gretchen Wilson

Yesterday I purchased the third album of Gretchen Wilson. She is an amazing talent. Yesterday I loaded into onto my ipod and have listened to the entire CD ("album" for those of you over 35) at least 7 times since purchasing it yesterday.

Of course if you have been around Brian's Blog any amount of time you will know that I am a fan of Gretchen Wilson. Not for her entry into Country Music (Redneck Woman) which I liked but her diverse talent on songs like "When I Think About Cheatin'" Her lesser known song "Pocahontas Proud" that details her life and mission to make her hometown proud on her first CD project.

Her second CD project "All Jacked Up" included great songs like the title cut "All Jacked Up", "Rebel Child", "Not Bad For A Bartender" her song that irked the Democrat Tennesse Attorney General "Skoal Ring" and then the song with Merle Haggard "Politically Uncorrect".
This CD project is as Good as the other two projects. Of course the title cut "One of the Boys", the duet with Big & Rich's John Rich on "Come To Bed", the fast songs are really Great. "You Don't Have To Go Home", "There's A Place In The Whiskey", "If You Want A Mother", "There Goes The Neighborhood", and "Good Ole Boy" The slower songs are equally as good demonstrating her unique qualities "The Girl I Am", "Heaven Help Me", "Pain Killer" and "To Tell You The Truth."

This CD is a Fabulous buy for any Country music fan.
