Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett's mom has passed away this afternoon. Please pray for Tim, Allison and the rest of the Burchett family. Mrs. Burchett and Dean Burchett were absolutely the most wonderful people. Of course Dean Burchett passed away a few years ago. Of course, Tim's dad was named Charlie Burchett, but his role over at the University cause many of us to simply call him Dean Burchett.
I still remember all those meetings of the West Knox Republican Club while Tim was in the State House / Senate and she would rise and simply say, "I am representing Tim" She was just an adorable lady and will be missed. While we grieve here on earth, she and Dean Burchett are reunited together again in heaven.
