Metro Nashville School Board Sharpening The Knife

In todays Tennessean the Metro School Board in Nashville/Davidson County are looking at deeper cuts than has been proposed by Superintendent Pedro Garcia.

It appears at this point that the Nashville/Davidson County School Board is putting forth due diligence. What results from the talk will be evident in a few weeks.

Garcia has proposed closing 7 of the 132 schools and eliminating 490 of the approximately 9800 positions within the school district.
