In a published report today in the Commercial Appeal. Two School Boards (Memphis and Shelby County) are coming together to build a new high school. The land cost is $84,000 a acre $5.0 million total. The land is expected to close by December 1, 2005.
The High School will cost $49.0 million to build with Memphis and Shelby County splitting the cost.
Does it all sound to good to be true?
An urban school board and suburban school board working together to produce a high school, jointly. It's true but here's the novel approach, It will be opened in 2007. Oh My.
