Congratulations to Pat Summit for the 900 win. What was best is that the win was against Vandy. Several years ago my wife, oldest son and I decided at the last minute to attend a Lady Vol game.
When I approached the ticket agent at Thompson-Boling, I pointed to the section where I thought that I wanted my tickets and we wound up in the Vandy section. I typically am loud and intense at sporting events, this game was no exception. It was a close game, Pat coached the girls to a win, the Vandy fans were congratulatory to us after the win, the Vandy fans were all around good sports.
Thank You Pat for staying with Tennessee through 1072 games. Lets win a hundred or two more, beginning with win 901 at Duke.
