RCA Recording Studio Torn Down For Parking Lot

This from todays Tennessean. RCA Recording Studio in Nashville was torn down to make room for a parking lot. This is where Elvis first recorded "Heartbreak Hotel". Where were the preservationist on this one? They want to save old houses but could care less about a historic structure like this.

This is yet another example of cultural genocide, brought to you by the same people who gave us "community redevelopment districts."

I am shocked there isn't a greater public uproar.
