Cynthia Finch Honored


This announcement is from the Knox County website, located here. Cynthia J. Finch was honored by the Girl Scouts of Tanasi Council as a Woman of Achievement. A former Girl Scout, Finch now holds the position of Knox County’s Senior Director of Community Services. Finch said that “Girl Scouts made a difference in my life and made me the woman I am today.”

Sarah Moore Greene, long-time political, education and civil rights advocate, was presented the Girl Scouts of Tanasi CouncilÂ’s first-ever Lifetime Achievement Award.

As an Eagle Scout, in the class of 1984 through the Great Smoky Mountain Council of the Boy Scouts of America. I am proud of Cynthia Finch for receiving this honor. She is a wonderful person, a talented and committed individual and a true leader. She is key to making our Knox County Government Better, Everyday.
